My most favorite tea in the whole wide world is chamomile. While it is much too hot right now to enjoy the relaxing effects of it, I am still loving all of the flowers.
I have never grown chamomile before. This year I grew most of my plants from seed and bought one for insurance. It is growing splendidly underneath and next to our blueberry bushes.
Chamomile is native to Europe and likes full sun. Ours started flowering a couple of weeks ago and I am looking forward to many more flowers this season!

I believe that chamomile is the best most versatile herb out there- I use it all the time with my children. My husband has to be cautious with it, as he has ragweed allergies- but he is able to use it sparingly. We grew some a few years ago, and it keeps re-seeding itself!
Beautiful photo. :)
I tried growing chamomile this year and somehow managed to kill it all. Along with my cucumbers, lettuce, and spinach. Actually, I have a fairly good idea of how I managed. Guess I should be more careful where I dump my (vinegar laden) dye water.. (:
My chamomile didn't make it this year :( I think I might try buying plants next year. The farm where we picked berries the other day had TONS of chamomile growing in with the raspberries--I was so jealous!
