Joining Ginny again today...
A week full of knitting and reading and not a whole lot more to show for it (expect for knitter's shoulder. Is there such a thing?) I have finished the body of the B.O.B., although after holding it around my body and further reading some of the comments, I have decided to add a couple more inches in length to it. I have a rather long torso and its sounds as if the sweater is knitting short. I do love it though and and can wait to wear it!

On the book front, while still reading Winter World at night, in anticipation of my chicken dreams becoming a reality, I have been paying a lot more attention to this book on the nightstand (and on the sidebar). Do any of you have chickens?

Yay for chicken dreams!! I have those same dreams! Are you moving from OR or ME to NJ? Good luck with your move!!
No chickens, and although I have always thought my hubby, the NOT farm type wouldn't go for it, there may be a softening in the future, so I read stuff and pay attention to blogs about others and their chickens and smile!!
nice sweater knitting! i'm on my second ever pair of socks. The first one was for the sock class, but this is just to see if I remember. I've done the whole top and now it's heel time! Think I'll get together with my friends and do it with moral support. I didn't get what I was doing the first time, just following instructions and now I think I'm getting it..
This sweater pattern is really cool!
No chickens here!! Jimmy Skunk is quite a character though :) Sweater is looking good.
Chicken dreaming, I hear you. We had them against our township's rules and had to part with ours. Needless to say we are looking forward to the day we can again have some fine feathered friends.
:)Lisa
I share your chicken dreams! I can't wait for the day it works out for us - and a little scared, too.
Looking forward to more of the BOB! I'm inspired!
Ooooh, I will look forward to living out my chicken dreams vicariously through you! How fun! Good Idea to add extra length. I almost never regret having something a little long.
Oh I love my chickens. So much fun and really pretty easy as animals go. The girls love them too. They are friendly and entertaining. And of course there are the fresh eggs every moring.
Blessings, Elizabeth
I love the blue! Great knitting!
ah, i wanted chickens for the longest time. we have the land now, i had many books. but we're nomads, just wouldn't work. perhaps for my retirement. :)
good luck!
Beautiful sweater!
I too have "yet" unrealised "chicken dreams" :)
One day, one day.
I do not have any chickens, but I have lots of yarn ;) I love the pattern that you picked!
