Autumn Days: 8

Brian, Brodie, the kids and I went on a hike near Mount Hood along Salmon River last weekend. We made the slightly over an hour drive in the hopes of catching the last of the salmon swimming upriver. We missed the salmon but we got some spectacular views. It was as if the forest was raining oranges, reds and yellows. This just-fallen leaf landed in the river. It sparkled and shone, just submerged in fresh water. Pretty pretty pretty.
