Winter Whiteness in Portland

There were some beautiful, even magical, moments over this holiday in Portland. We got snow and we got a lot of it. Each morning we would wake up to a new glistening layer of whiteness to play with and admire. Norah and Harvey built snowmen, made snow angels, cried from the cold, laughed with it. A winter storm to remember. Now there is just the sludge, and there is a lot of it...

I wish I had your talent for photography! Your photos just get better and better! And I am so jealous for your winter weather. It's finally cold again here (will be down in the 20's tonight) but keeps going up into the 60's and 70's during the days. That's not very winter-y! I want some snow! :)
