An old friend has inspired some fun in the sun of the plastic pool variety and boy have we had some fun. I read her post while the kids were napping one day last week and found the answer to what we would do with our afternoon. We had one of these last summer and sold it at our garage sale before we moved. Amanda's post reminded me of the good times we spent last summer in the backyard, and the party continues this year. In between their splashed, I can even get a little knitting or reading time. I. love. summer.

Plastic Pool Party (for two)

I always get so excited when your new posts pop up on my list! So, strangely excited! And, today, I come over here and it's all (ok, not all, but like mostly... jeez, a little) about me! Hooray! Although, I wouldn't let it get out to too many people that you are taking the advice of a self proclaimed dummy (w/plenty of empirical evidence). Glad the kids had fun. So, how much longer do we have to wait for #3?
You have the Rolls Royce of kiddie pools waiting for you in a garage. it is upsetting to see N&H playing in his plastic pool.
Oh, this is sweet. I especially love the picture of the crocs, the book and the chair. Combined with the picture of the kids, they tell us the story of your afternoon!
Hi, I just found your blog! And it is adorable!! Glad you found some relax time while your kids had a blast in the pool! I hope to pop in again!
They look like they're having a blast! Remember the fun we had in your backyard pool? And "American heart.. baboom baboom..." :) I wish you all could come down here for a visit. I miss you! And I second the request for an update on baby numero tres!
So. Where have you been, Missy? Have you any new "events" to tell me about? You must email me immediately: parentingbydummies@gmail.com
i have been trying to read that book for awhile... it continues to sit on my shelf reminding me of that. is it good?
