We have been getting outside as much as possible lately. The weather is turning here; brown, yellow, orange, and red reminders that winter is not far behind. Each new season brings such wonder with it. Right now, I am loving the brilliance all around us. And I just can't stop loving acorns. In another life, I want to be one. In the meantime, I am going to make one of my kids be one for Halloween. Who my victim is going to be I am not sure yet...

I am beyond envious at the list of things you're making, because they are so far beyond any ability I will ever have. Don't get me wrong! I have my own talents, but knitting is not among them. So I'm in awe of the things that others create with seemingly little effort. they sound beautiful.
Your yesterday was beautiful, ours was damp, dreary and utterly unappealing. I was going to go for a walk, but just opted for indoors. What's nice about the 40s, with rain, and a damp chill wind? Nothing, that's what.
But get outside while you can, especially with your babies! I'd also like to suggest another book for your reading list (I like the blessings book, by the way): "Family Fit," by Dr. John MAyer. It helps you incorporate a healthier lifestyle for your family while bringing families closer together at the same time. (I like his attitude: physical activity should be fun. Eating should be fun. What's not to like about that?!) The whole family is involved and it lets you maximize time spent together.
WONDERFUL pix, too. I just got a new camera, my first digital SLR. Sadly, no memory card came with (I'm a little irritated by that), so I'm waiting for the one I purchased at big savings online. I'm pretty excited by it. But your photos are absolutely wonderful.
