Outside

Lately I have been trying to be more aware o my surroundings, more in the moment, less in my head. I have spent much too much time dwelling up there these days. There is a whole wide world outside of it. Last weekend (before our latest round of sickness, this one involving yours truly. Ugh.), I sat outside with my knitting watching the snow melt away before my eyes. Dripping from one branch to another. Some squealing from my children in the background but mostly just me, my knitting and the drips. Lovely.

You guys have had a rough go with the sickness, hope you are better quickly!

Nature is such a cure all.

You know, I have to make myself open my eyes, too? It's lovely, each time, but still doesn't come naturally. Good for you, and hooray for spring!

Beautiful picture. I love how the clouds look like snow mountains in the background. I can't believe you are sick again! Oh Sachi, I am sending lots of healthy energy your way.

We have had a lot of drips here too, as the snow melts and the rain pours down. That is a lovely photo.
