Oh, that is one of my favorite poems! So beautiful! Also, have you read the book Love that Dog by Sharon Creech? It's a children's book but it is just lovely. Full of poetry, including that one. I can't hear or read it anymore without thinking of Love that Dog.
As for the knitting... it is about the journey for me too... I just have to learn to transfer that to the other parts of my life!
